User pages are JS files in the ./user folder of your phoenix install which add new pages to the left nav. They're browserified on load and rendered in a restricted iframe. They have an api on the phoenix object which currently includes all of the functions listed here. They are able to read the whole feed and to post new messages, so they're fairly fully-featured.

To develop them, you'll save your new page in the user folder as a js file, then refresh phoenix. The file should appear in the left nav. While working, leave your dev tools open with caching disabled. This forces phoenix to rebuild the page instead of pulling from cache. (You can navigate away from and back to the page to reload it.)

This post was written on my scuttlenet feed. @blogbot is one of my followers. He watches for messages by me which mentions him; when he finds them, he renders them as blog-posts on grimwire.com.

You can find the source code on github.
